Rules and Recommendations - Covid

It is possible to provide accommodation services to anyone who does not have any symptoms of covid-19 and proves that they meet one of the conditions (this does not apply to children under 12 years), which are described in ŽS ONT system: Vaccination - past disease - Test. Proof of infectivity can only be proven by a certificate of vaccination, a certificate of past covid-19 disease not older than 180 days. PCR tests are only accepted in exceptional cases.

These people can stay for a maximum of 7 days and if they want to extend their stay, they must meet this condition again, or they can do a self-test on the spot with a negative result.

In connection with proving infectivity, there is an exception to the possibility of proving by PCR test (not older than 72 hours), for accommodated persons due to business trip, the need to care for another person, the person has be provided with medical service and already accommodated persons (before ordering changes).

In addition to these persons, accommodation services may also be provided to the following persons:

  • Those who have been placed in isolation or quarantine.
  • For those who are in housing need and whose accommodation was mediated by the territorial self-governing unit (municipality, region ...).

In accommodation facilities, it is necessary to have a respirator or other protective equipment worn in all common areas without an exhalation valve with a filtration efficiency of at least 94% (respirators of class FFP2 / KN 95, nanotray, etc. ). When staying, follow the increased hygiene rules and, if possible, stay in your hotel room.

In addition, the operator must ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • Customers must be able to disinfect their hands when entering and inside the establishment. Disinfection must also be placed on frequently touched areas (handles, railings, handrails, switches) so that customers and employees can disinfect their hands regularly.
  • The operator will ensure regular disinfection of frequently touching areas (handles, handrails, railings, switches).

It is also important to take extra care to clean the rooms and handle towels and bedding. This will significantly reduce the risk of infection (for both residents and employees). And sooner we will be able to return to hotels in freer traffic.

Restaurants in accommodation establishments have the same conditions as other catering establishments. You can find out the exact rules in Catering facilities .
